The European Microfinance Network (EMN) is an organisation, based in Paris aiming at promoting microfinance at the European level as a tool to fight social exclusion and to develop microenterprises. It has 87 members from 23 European countries.

In its seventh year of operation EMN is developing a variety of activities from information sharing, training, exchange to advocacy work. So far EMN is staffed with three persons, its director, its training manager and information/members manager.

Responsabilités :

In that context EMN is looking for someone to assist the secretariat in various tasks and proposes an internship with the following tasks:

  • updating information from members on website
  • updating regularly news on microfinance on website
  • prepare short articles for website and newsletter
  • preparation of various information documents
  • assisting in research studies
  • assisting in organizing various events (exchange visit, conference, etc..)

Compétences/qualifications/expérience :

Language(s): French (Fluent – the level will be tested), English (Fluent – the level will be tested), Spanish

Competence(s): Exceptional events organisation, redaction 

Please note that this internship requires to be fully fluent in French, with a very good level/fluency in English. Fluency in Spanish would also be appreciated.
